Well, it all started with a broken tierod. So, we took the front left shock and tire off and used a ratchet strap to hold the a-arms up. Then, to three wheel it back home, use a ratchet strap on the right rear corner to hold it down thus lifting the front left to keep it from dragging in the sand. The best tie down spot for the rear was up to the head rest part of the roll bar. So, we had to put the bed in the dump position. No big deal as we're just putting back to camp right? No big deal nuts and bolts wise but no one thought to consider the exhaust. I melted a nice hole through the tailgate and warped the whole thing.

Sorry to hear about this. Does it look kind of mean with the hole melted in the back? Post up a picture if you could. I will keep my eyes open for a tail gate for you.

I might have a tailgate for u after this weekend, I am taking my full rolecage off & removing the back seat to build a baja cage this weekend. Havent decided on rear design yet & wont know until i start bending the tubing. My tailgate is black though off of a XTZ 650. I will keep u posted if u are interested.

Thanks for the offer but I think I'll hold off for the 1000 orange color so I don't have to paint it. I figured once the racers start buying these and do their bed deletes I might be able to find one without having to go to the dealer.
