Just wear heated gloves its cheaper.

 

and they do make heated gloves.

 

Sitting on your hands works great

 

Look at motorcycle heated grip inserts at Cycle gear or Rocky Mountain ATV.

I bought a set of heated gloves when I use to ride my KLR 650, sold the KLR but kept the gloves. Yes they work quite well with my XTZ!
